Sunderland 1997-99 training sweatshirt (XL)

Training jacket used by Sunderland players and staff in the 97/98 and 98/99 seasons. These were the first years for the Black Cats at their new stadium, the Stadium of Light, as the club struggled to return to the Premier League. Finally, Sunderland succeeded in 1999. The team then dominated the First Division and won the league with an 18-point advantage over Bradford City.
