Brazil 1984 (#5 Ademir) match worn vs RFN – Olympics (M)

Ademir Roque Kaefer match worn shirt - captain of the Olympic team of Brazil at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. The jersey comes from the meeting with West Germany, played in the group stage (01.08.1984, Stanford Stadium). It was the only game of the tournament in which the Canarinhos used an away kit.

The Brazilians in that tournament did a great job. They won Group C on a three-game winning streak, then defeated Canada and Italy on their way to the final. Unfortunately, in the match for Olympic gold, they lost to the France 0:2, after goals from Brisson and Xuereb in the second half of the match.

Ademir played in every match of the tournament from the first to the last minute, and in the quarter-finals against Canada, he successfully scored a penalty in a series of penalty kicks that decided the promotion.
