Home jersey of the Norwegian Hønefoss BK from the historical 2010 season for this club. This year, Hønefoss BK played at the highest level in Norway for the first time in its history. For the newcomer, the premiere season in Tippeligaen turned out to be very difficult. The team led by Reidar Vagnes took 14th place in the table and had to win a mini play-off tournament in which, apart from Hønefoss, also three teams from the second division took part. In the semi-finals, Hønefoss dealt with Ranheim (2:1) after extra time and needed a two-legged final against Fredrikstad to remain in the league. However, the third team of the second division turned out to be too strong for Vagnes' team. Fredrikstad outclassed Hønefoss in the final, winning as much as 8:1 on aggregate (4:0 and 4:1).
